The Faculty of Political Sciences of the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration organized the 9th ACADEMOS Conference "Changing the path. Crisis society and politics in contemporary world" held in Bucharest between June 28th and July 1st, 2023.
The aim of this event was to bring together academic scientists, experienced and young researchers, as well as practitioners to exchange and share their knowledge and research results on various aspects of social and political sciences, presenting and discussing the most recent innovations, trends, and challenges in these fields. For the 2023 edition, the Conference Committee welcomed proposals from all areas of social and political science.
ACADEMOS has teamed up with Civil Szemle and Perspective Politice journals, and all submitted papers had the opportunity to be considered for special issues of these journals. The paper selection implied a blind peer review process and the final decision for assigning specific papers to each journal was made - based on the peer review reports - by the Conference Committee and the Journals Editors-in-Chiefs jointly.
